In 1867, the year following Portland's great fire, Henry Bailey died and the business was carried on by his son, F.O. Bailey.

In 1977, Joy and Jack Piscopo purchased the company and have continued its reputation of consistency and integrity coupled with their own enthusiasm and knowledge of the antique market.
