| F.O. BAILEY CO. offers absentee bidding as a service for the convenience of clients who cannot attend a sale in person, at no additional cost. Care will be taken in the description of the items to the buyer and a staff member of the company will represent the absentee bidder and purchase the item for the lowest possible price according to increases in bidding from the audience. In the event of identical or tie bids, the earliest postmarked bid will take precedence. F.O. Bailey is not responsible for errors or failure to execute bid. A deposit of 20% and confirmation in writing is required if a telephone bid is to be executed. Absentee bids are subject to conditions of sale (see CONDITIONS OF SALE FORM), a 15% buyers premium and Maine State Sales Tax where applicable. Shipping and handling costs are to be paid by the buyer and all costs are to be paid before delivery is made. Our staff will be happy to assist you in these matters. |
